How to set a budget?

 

Budget is an amount of money you allocate to an expense category for one month (periodical budgets will be discussed below).

To set a budget you should first switch to the budget allocation page using the 3 horizontal lines in the top left to open the menu and then choose the budget allocation (see picture)

The second step is to ensure that the category expense you wish to allocate budget to appears in the list.

For convenience, usually the list will include only the expense categories which has either budget or a reported expense (to prevent too big of a list). But this can be toggled by the button in the upper right so all categories appear and thus you see the category you want.

Then simply touch the budget number and the window enabling adding a budget will be opened
