#1 How do I add an item and define its special charachteristics (urgent, add picture)?

Please use the add item button          to open the add item screen. for details information on the various features please continue to the Read more... section. When you are done with the item, please click the send button        and the item will automatically be added to the

#2 do I need to fill all the fields?

No. The only mandatory field is the name. It might be useful to note, that the system also check and verify there are no duplicate names to

prevent confusion when updates are coming in from the rest of the group.

#3 what is the categories field for?

The category is a mean for grouping together items for easier shopping. One can group it by shops (e.g. Pharmacy Vs. Books) or by area in the supermarket (e.g. dairy products Vs. meet). It might be useful to know there is one more field for grouping items which is the aisle field

#4 what happened if I want different categories than exist in the original list

You can manage the list of categories by yourself (add, delete or change). You can open the categories maintenance screen from the setting screen or from the add item screen.

#5 what happened after I mark an item as purchased​

​The item's background will turn grey and it is marked as non-active. You can toggle between the active and non-active lists by using the button with arrows in opposite directions. The active list is identified by its yellow background and the non-active by its grey background. Next time you will need to buy this item, instead of re-type it, just go to the non-active list find the item (use the search option if the list is long) and uncheck the checkbox. The background will turn yellow and the item will be part of the active list again.

 

#6  how can I update quantity or correct a mistake in the notes

​Touching the main item body in the list screen will automatically open the update screen where you can update and correct all you need

 

#7 how can I share and synchronize my shopping list items with my family

​This can be easily done by two steps. The first is to define a group (in Settings>create group). You define the group name and the group creator phone number. This is used for the group identification even if there are more than one group with the same name (e.g. the smith family). Then you can use the invite button, which will list all your contacts and enable you to send them the details by text message.

The next step is by each invitee to join the group (Settings>join a group). There, each one will type the group name, creator number and its own number. After this, each change in the item list will be shared immidiately and automatically among all of the registered group members
